I have been a registered nurse for over 30 years. Clinically I have experience working with children and families in hospital and community. I have worked in research & education since the 1990's, researching infant formula versus breast milk; asthma self-management and medication plus peak flow. I design, develop and deliver interprofessional education in the undergraduate curriculum. I also support post-graduate professionals in health and social care with research; service improvement and other projects to help them to complete masters level study. I lead modules for post-graduate level studies and have supervised and supported PhD students to complete a thesis and gain a doctorate.
