Personal profile

Dr Bolaji Iyiola is a Senior Lecturer in Accounting and Finance. He joined Ð԰ɵç̨ as a Lecturer in Accounting and Finance in January 2020. His experience with teaching and learning in the UK higher education started at the University of Portsmouth in 2018, where he was later appointed as a PTHP Lecturer in 2019. He received his PhD in Accounting and Financial Management from the University of Portsmouth in 2020.

Bolaji's research interests are in the areas of Pyscholinguistic Analysis for Financial Communications in the Context of Institutional Theory, Financial Statement Fraud, Bribery and Corruption, Corporate Governance, and Risk Management. He is an Associate Member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiner (ACFE). 

Bolaji is currently engaged in publishing articles in leading accounting and finance journals. His current research projects focus on the analysis of corporate communications for signals of financial distress and potential deception. 

Bolaji is the current module leader for Risk Management for Level 5 students.

Bolaji enjoys playing or watching football.
